Programme content and booking
Following initial discussions, we will submit a detailed proposal document, containing the proposed course structure and subject breakdown. Programme bookings normally need to be confirmed at least 6 weeks in advance of the scheduled start date.
The proposal will outline the weekly course content suitable for the client company’s industry profile and include details of any specific project or assessment procedures agreed.
Under normal circumstances, the number of delegates on a training programme is limited to 12 owing to workshop supervision requirements. For clients with a smaller number of trainees it may be possible to integrate them on a course containing trainees from other companies with a similar industry profile.
Delegate accommodation
Most training programmes are held at more than one location away from the clients’ offices hence delegate accommodation is required. The delegates’ employer normally arranges this, however we will assist by providing a dedicated contact person for local accommodation/hotel lists and other assistance with organisation matters.
We provide lunches and refreshments throughout the course and delegates are responsible for their own bed/breakfast/evening meal.
Delegate travel arrangements
Delegates are responsible for their own travel to and from the weekly training venues. It will help if delegates have their own cars or can arrange to share transport. For delegates without their own transport, we will provide any ad-hoc travel required whilst in individual course locations (e.g. day industrial visits).
Health and safety
Most training programmes include an industry-recognised ECITB/CCNSG/safety passport qualification. The particular qualification syllabus is chosen from the various CCNSG options to suit the delegate employer’s industry profile.
Delegates are required to use suitable personal protective equipment (PPE) during the training programme. The delegates’ employer usually provides these items. Alternatively, we can supply full PPE packages, with weekly clean boiler suits/coveralls as part of the course materials.
