Our scheduled course programme covers various different aspects of plant inspection subjects, however some clients prefer to have a programme tailored especially for them. A Typical Course Outline

Course title: In-service inspection of mechanical plant
Duration: 4 days 0900-1630hrs
Location: Client's premises

Course books: Inspection of Mechanical Plant and PSSRs ACoP
Course manual: Approx 150 pages

Typical experience of delegates: A mixture of ASNT/PCN certificated NDT technicians, plant inspectors and junior project engineers.

Course Objectives
  • To understand the process involved in the inspection and testing of mechanical plant.
  • To recognise the importance of technical standards in inspecting plant for specification compliance and fitness-for-purpose issues.
  • To understand the significance of relevant regulations and legislation.
  • To learn the importance of comprehensive and accurate inspection reports.
